So, this is where we celebrate those companies that contribute to 60%* of the labour market. Judges are looking, in particular, for SMEs that are forging new paths and, through new concepts and/or products, are standing out from the crowd.

This award recognises and celebrates the companies that developed or produced an outstanding tech innovation (or series of innovations) over the qualifying period. Judges will take into account the success of the innovation (either product, system or service) and its impact on consumers, clients, or the general business environment. The innovation will most likely have come to market, but judges will also accept nominations from companies in an R&D phase.

The South Coast plays host to some of the UK’s fastest growing and most important maritime economies. This award will be given to the company that has developed a product or service for this fast growing sector – either on land, or in the water.

The South Coast is one of the most vibrant regions for Science and Technology business in the UK. It plays host to some of the most exciting companies from software to space tech. Nominees for this award will be those that have a background in science and technology and can demonstrate success over the qualifying period.

This award is for companies that have developed (or are developing) products or services that support the ESG ambitions and objectives of their industries, consumers, or clients. Entrants should have developed the technology in-house and own the IP. Successful nominees will be able to demonstrate how this is contributing to the growing push for sustainable practices and business, while reducing the impact of business on the environment.
